Shiny Christmas Ball Snowflake Earrings in Red

More fun with Christmas earrings - this time in a more holly jolly, fun and festive mood.   I recently found these shiny metallic coloured beads in a variety of colours, and with etched accents that have almost a holographic effect in that they reflect many colours as they move.

I thought the accent on the shiny bead matched perfectly with this style of graphic snowflake charm  and small white pearls work not only to set off the main bead nicely, but give the earrings,  as a whole, an almost snowy blizzard effect - at least, that was my goal.

The shiny metallic Christmas Ball beads are a large 20mm but they are made of acrylic so they very durable and light-wearing.  Because the mood of this style is more fun, I like the slightly more unusual effect with the kidney style ear wire.   I went with a moderate length and the result is a little more spacing hanging below the ear and I find that makes them look lighter and a little more magical.

I'm really loving these new-find shiny metallic beads that remind me so much of childhood Christmas ornaments, and the snowflake charms dangling merrily below are sure to be eye-catching.
