Fabulous Festive Food - Winter Wonderland Trees, Snowmen and Candy Canes oh my!

I have seen so many cute ideas for holiday entertaining food that take themes OTT - which I'm all about, for sure when it comes to Christmas.  Themes are cool.  So many cute ideas, in fact, that when I try to find one that I have in mind I struggle to locate it, and then I become insanely distracted by more great ideas as I search through my Pinterest boards and etc. and then ... I have fallen down the rabbit hole, or Santa's chimney, as it were.  What is this organized thing of which they speak?  I try though, I do try.  So I thought, hey, while I'm trying to get organized, why don't I share.

Great Ideas! Sock Snowmen

Looking around the internet I've really fallen in love with the snowman sock concept.  What a totally fabulous idea.

For me, it's the perfect craft in that you can change just about any element of the "recipe".  You'll need a sock.  Beyond that, the options are limitless.

Certainly children could partcipate in elements of the production, depending on the age, and wouldn't they make adorable gifts for their friends and teachers?

I'm really no expert on chidrens' crafts - my children have claws and fur and they'd be total rubbish at helping with these - not that this would stop them trying.  I can remember my own childhood days of crafting and I know I'd have been keen to make an army of these adorable guys and gals.

Christmas Gift Tags with Pop-Up Santa Stickers

Although I have far too many Christmas bits and bobs - well, too many for their space as there could never really be too many, could there? - I just couldn't resist these adorable Pop-Up Christmas Stickers.  Lovely vibrant colours and sweet graphics, the piece de resistance is that the puffly little stickers contain tiny shiny beads.

Snowmen Take Over the Dining Room - DIY

I've taken over the dining room table today because I'm hoping this week to make some time for some serious card making. I have oodles of things to play with and they need a lot of space - it can be a little overwhelming - but this first project in the stash busting is nice and simple.

Christmas Cross Stitch Ornaments

What an adorable face this cute snowman has!

These cross-stitch Christmas ornaments are stitched on a perforated paper using two strands of floss. I like to finish them off with a backing of either adhesive metallic card stock or adhesive felt.
