It's anything goes week at the Christmas Card Challenges blog, so I really have to play along, don't I? This is a bright rendition of a simple design for a festive Christmas card. Neon bright might not be everyone's cup of tea but I love it. Believe it or not, these are my kitchen colours - bright lime green and neon pink. For a Christmas card, if you think about it, it's just a slight slide on the hue spectrum from traditional Christmas red and green. With a little bling on top for good measure.
This is a template recipe that I will use for many variations as I'm quite happy with the results, and it stays within the criterion to not require extra postage - which is really important in my world.
This card style uses 3 sheets of coordinating card stock, pretty crosgrain ribbon (which is wrapped around the top most layer), large die cut snowflake and silver gem stones. This is a nice simple style and you could alter your embellishments and focal piece for any number of variations - as well, of course as the papers. Don't you just love the endless possibilities? Anything goes!
So pretty and perfect for our challenge at Christmas Cards. Hugs x
