Oh Christmas Tree Gift Tags

I recently treated myself to some new die cut punches in a Christmas theme like these lovely forest version Christmas trees.  They are a perfect embellishment for these lovely craft tags that I found.

The first thing I do is to attach a backing of white card stock.  This gives the tag better structure, and is also a lot nicer for your to/from or holiday greeting.  The trees are punched from a nice glitter stock that doesn't shed it's glitter - so much better to work with! - and I've attached them with thick raised dots which gives it a nice dimension.

Layers of coordinating card stock and card stock Christmas papers with and a row of sparkly gems underneath complete the front, and embroidery floss completes the tag..

There are a lot more colours in the pack for me to play with!  Sparkles Christmas Challenge blog has an Oh Christmas Tree theme this week, so I thought it would be fun to play along.
